To strengthen our outstanding development team in Germany, we are looking for an experienced **.**NET Developer (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible.

This is a remote position; applicants must be based in Germany!

You are an engineer with a strong enthusiasm for crafting and developing reliable Cloud Services of high quality. As a member of our engineering team, you will be involved in enhancing one or more micro services to cater to the increasing demands of Luware’s Nimbus call center solution.

Specifically, for a given feature, your responsibilities will include engaging with stakeholders/POs to gather requirements, documenting the design and undergoing team reviews, implementing the design, generating unit tests for your modifications, overseeing the deployment of the new feature, and incorporating additional monitoring and metrics as required for the feature.

In essence, you will have complete ownership of your feature from its inception to completion. In a leadership capacity within our team, you will play a pivotal role in promoting best practices and providing guidance to junior engineers.

Work with the latest technologies, such as C#, Scala, .NET, Python, OpenAI, CoPilot, Apache Spark (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Apache Zeppelin), SQL/KQL, Azure Cloud Services, Terraform/Bicep/ARM, Kubernetes, Semantic Kernel.

Your responsibilities :

• Design and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions
• Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design and code reviews
• Develop “best-in-class” engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable
• System design through well-defined interfaces across multiple components, code reviews, leveraging data/telemetry to make decisions
• Improve test coverage for services, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas
• Consider testability, portability/monitoring, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when code is ready to be shared and delivered
• Gain a working understanding of Luware as a business and collaborate with mentors and leaders to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users
• Focus on customer/partner needs through a data driven approach

What we are looking for:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience
• 5+ years of software design and development experience with backend services
• First experiences with building AI infused applications with OpenAI / Copilot and other generative AI technologies
• 5+ years hands on experience in any Object-Oriented coding language such as C#, C++, Java or similar
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly across organizational boundaries
• Experience in DevOps to maintain live services and\or application frameworks
• Cloud and services experience, with Azure cloud experience highly desirable
• Excellent analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to software design
• Passion for building highly scalable, highly reliable services
• Experience with or exposure to Agile and iterative development processes
• Typescript, Angular and basic front end development experience
