Your mission at vialytics

At vialytics, you will play a key role in shaping our core mobile application that helps cities digitize and simplify road infrastructure management. Your mission is to drive the evolution of our app: Making it robust, scalable, and intuitive – so that municipalities and partners can detect road damage automatically, streamline their workflows, and make smarter decisions every day. What you build as a Senior Flutter/Mobile Engineer directly supports the work of public services and has a tangible impact on how cities operate.

Your contribution to the product

• Enhance Core Functionality using Flutter : You develop and maintain features that enable high-quality data capture – such as images, GPS, or sensor data – and ensure they are effectively visualized on mobile devices.
• User-Centric Design : You collaborate with designers and stakeholders to create intuitive, clean, and accessible user interfaces – for both field and office use.
• Cross-Platform Excellence : You ensure that our app performs reliably, responds quickly, and remains consistent across both Android and iOS.
• Quality & Stability : You write clean, testable code and conduct code reviews to ensure a stable and secure application.
• Continuous Improvement : You monitor app performance, gather user feedback, and drive enhancements that improve the user experience and boost operational efficiency.
  

Key Skills you need to succeed in this role

• Technology Stack : Solid experience with Flutter/Dart in complex production-grade applications, experience with SQL databases, deep understanding of nuances related to API integrations and related technologies, familiarity with performance optimization techniques to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences.
• State Management : In-depth knowledge of state management solutions (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc) and their best practices throughout the app lifecycle.
• Platform Integration : Strong understanding of native platforms (Swift/Obj-C for IOS or Kotlin/Java for Android) for implementing custom plugins and integrations when needed.

Optional Skills that give you an edge

• UI/UX Skills : Proven track record of collaborating closely with designers and product managers to refine and improve UI/UX incl. experience with Figma or similar tools, experience in building intuitive user journeys and maintaining design consistency across screens.
