As a Senior Consultant Energy Utilities , you will work directly with our clients and BCG teams on complex transformation programs across energy sales, energy services, customer solutions, and energy networks. You will take a central role in designing and implementing modern platforms and IT architectures.

Shape the world of tomorrow

• Take end-to-end responsibility for functional and technical workstreams within transformation programs for energy providers from strategy and target operating model definition through implementation

• Lead and steer interdisciplinary delivery teams while coaching consultants and analysts

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable solution designs and sustainable target architectures (use case detailing, capability mapping, requirements engineering, process design, data domains, and flow analyses)

• Own the architecture and implementation of key energy solutions, including CRM, billing, pricing, forecasting, planning, and logistics systems, as well as digital data platforms

• Manage transformation programs including roadmap definition, governance setup, stakeholder alignment, and quality assurance

• Establish and further develop best practices for delivery teams within the energy utilities sector

• Support proposal development and contribute to the continuous growth of our Energy Utilities portfolio

• Above-average degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or a related field

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in energy utilities, IT implementation projects, or transformation programs across energy sales, networks, or energy IT

• Experience leading project teams or key workstreams within larger programs

• Solid experience in the design and implementation of industry-standard energy software solutions (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud, SIV, Wilken)

• Strong understanding of IT architectures in energy utilities, including current trends in data and platform landscapes

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, including experience building complex business cases

• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills up to senior management level

• Fluent in German and English (additional language skills in Polish, Czech, or Hungarian are a plus)
