SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER / SOLUTIONS TECHNOLOGIST

Job Summary

The Senior Software Developer / Solutions Technologist is a hybrid technical role combining software development, systems integration, business process automation, low-code application development, and emerging AI technologies.

The role focuses on developing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and ServiceNow, integrating systems through APIs and data pipelines, modernizing legacy workflows, and implementing automation and AI-assisted capabilities. The position also involves technical discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder engagement, system documentation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

App & Workflow Development

• Build, configure, and maintain enterprise and specialized solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Develop solutions using ServiceNow.
• Apply data modeling best practices and develop relational data models using Microsoft Dataverse.
• Develop Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse.
• Integrate Canvas Apps and Custom Pages with backend services.
• Create dashboards, reporting views, and data visualizations using Power BI and ServiceNow.

Required Qualifications

• Active adjudicated Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of recent specialized experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with software development principles, low-code platforms, and relational data modeling.
• Experience working within a software development team and using CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and systems integration concepts.
• Ability to document system architectures, data flows, and technical processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining enterprise solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
• Experience deploying Copilot Studio agents, AI Builder, or custom AI connectors in secure cloud environments.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600.
• Experience with ServiceNow development and integration.
• Knowledge of enterprise collaboration tools and IT security requirements.
