VDI Engineer (m/f/d) - Ingenieur, System Engineering / Admin

The Opportunity:

The Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer will manage the planning, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide VDI systems, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and scalability for an organization's technology infrastructure. This role involves configuring and managing VDI solutions, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and designing innovative solutions to support a hybrid or remote-first workforce. The successful candidate will apply advanced advising and engineering skills, deep technical expertise, and industry knowledge to create solutions for medium-to-large enterprises.

You Have:

• Experience with Configuration, deployment, and management of VDI platforms, such as Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Microsoft AVD
• Experience with managing VDI infrastructure on on-premises, hybrid, or cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, or VMware
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science
• IAM Level I Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
