SAP S4 HANA Data Migration Manager / SAP BODS Solution Architect (m/w/d)

Aufgaben:

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities (Tasks & Deliverables)
Data Migration Leadership
• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA data migration initiatives across multiple business streams.
• Define data migration strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and execution approach.
• Manage migration activities from planning, profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, mock loads, dress rehearsals, cutover
• Drive migration governance meetings and provide status reporting to program leadership and business stakeholders.
• Identify migration risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure alignment between business, functional, technical, and data migration teams.
Stakeholder & Team Management
• Coordinate with Business Process Owners, Data Owners, Functional Leads, Technical Architects, and Program Management teams.
• Facilitate workshops with business and functional teams to define migration requirements, data quality standards, and reconciliation criteria.
• Architect and oversee SAP BODS ETL solutions for SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
• Review and approve technical designs, ETL architecture, mappings, and development standards.
• Ensure implementation of reusable migration frameworks and best practices.
• Lead SAP Information Steward implementation for data profiling, data quality monitoring, scorecards, and governance reporting.
• Establish data quality KPIs and drive data cleansing activities across business domains.
Data Migration Execution
• Oversee extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading of data from SAP & non-SAP source sys
• Ensure successful execution of migration activities using SAP BODS, SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LSMW, IDOCs, BAPIs, and file-based interfaces.
• Review and approve source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and reconciliation reports.
• Support multiple mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production cutover cycles.
• Ensure migration deliverables meet quality, compliance, and audit requirements.
Functional & Business Process Expertise
Strong functional understanding and data migration experience across key SAP business processes, including:
• P2P (Procure-to-Pay): Vendor Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification
• L2C (Lead-to-Cash): Customer Master, Sales Orders, Pricing, Deliveries, Billing
• P2X (Plan-to-Execute): Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Production Planning & Execution
• R2R (Record-to-Report): General Ledger, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Fixed Assets, Financial Transactions
• S2C (Source-to-Contract): Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management
• QUM (Quality Management): Inspection Plans, Quality Notifications, Quality Master Data
• I2O (Inventory-to-Operate): Warehouse Management, Batch Management, Logistics, Inventory & Supply Chain Operations

Anforderungen:

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of SAP Data Migration experience.
• Extensive experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) & hnds-on with SAP Information Steward.
• Proven experience leading SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration programs.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LSMW, IDOCs, BAPIs, and ETL processes.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams across business, functional, and technical streams.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• SAP BODS certification preferred.
• SAP Information Steward experience
• PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications are an advantage.
Preferred Experience
• Large-scale global SAP transformation programs.
• SAP S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.
• Data Governance and Master Data Management initiatives.
• Multi-country rollout and template deployment projects.
