For the expanding engineering team in the Stuttgart region, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/x) who is passionate about building robust quality processes in highly complex software environments.

Tasks

• Drive quality assurance across sophisticated software products used in demanding high-performance environments
• Design, implement, and continuously improve automated test frameworks for APIs, backend services, and distributed software components
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies across unit, integration, system, and end-to-end levels
• Analyze complex software behavior and identify root causes in close collaboration with software and system engineers
• Validate software reliability in virtualized and hardware-related environments
• Ensure stable and reproducible test infrastructures for complex development workflows
• Contribute actively to quality standards, release readiness, and continuous improvement processes
• Work closely with interdisciplinary engineering teams across software, systems, and product development
• Support the transition from reactive testing toward proactive quality engineering

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Software Quality Assurance , Test Automation , or Quality Engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python for test development and automation
• Deep understanding of modern testing methodologies across multiple test layers
• Solid experience working in Linux-based environments
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and complex system setups
• Experience testing service-oriented architectures and communication interfaces such as REST or gRPC
• Knowledge of configuration and automation tools is highly beneficial
• Additional exposure to programming languages such as Go or Kotlin is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented working style
• Comfortable operating in technically challenging environments with evolving requirements
• Fluent English communication skills
