Job Description

Join AECOM’s Environment team and help shape a more sustainable future. As an Environmental Apprentice (m/f/d), you’ll support experts working on real-world projects that protect and restore land, water, and ecosystems across Germany.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in environmental site investigations, soil and groundwater sampling, and data analysis for remediation and infrastructure projects. Working alongside engineers, geoscientists, and sustainability specialists, you’ll learn how environmental challenges are assessed and solved on complex, large-scale developments.

Qualifications

This role is ideal for someone curious about the natural world, motivated by climate and environmental protection, and eager to build a career in environmental consulting. You’ll develop both field and office skills while contributing to meaningful projects that make a tangible difference to communities and the environment.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum German language proficiency of B2 level and professional-level English communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with local and international teams.
