NDT Sales Support Engineer / Applikationsingenieur (m/w/d) - Digitale Radiographie

The digital transformation in non-destructive testing (NDT) is just beginning – currently, the global market share of digital RT technology is only around 18%. Rising silver prices and the need for more efficient processes are driving the industry to move away from traditional film. This is where you come in!

Our client is a global market leader in innovative X-ray system solutions. To further expand their growing market share, we are looking for a dynamic expert to act as the technical lynchpin between global sales and product development.

Your Mission: Conquering the Digital NDT World

• Global Impact: Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will actively support the sales teams across Europe, South America, India, and the APAC region.
• Bringing Technology to Life: You are the on-site expert. You will conduct compelling product demonstrations (CR scanners, DR panels, AI-driven software), perform installations, create training materials, and train international customers.
• Travel & Remote Work: You will travel globally for about 50% of your time. The remainder of your time will be spent working from your home base (Home Office) or at the modern development facility in Germany.
• Testing & Optimization: You will conduct trials, software, and field tests, ensuring all systems comply with specific NDT standards.
• Knowledge Transfer: You will assist in the creation of service and user manuals and provide valuable hands-on feedback from the field directly to product management.

Your Profile: Technical Expertise Meets Commercial Mindset

• Background: You hold a technical degree or have completed technical training, paired with several years of profound experience in industrial digital radiography.
• NDT Certification: You possess a deep understanding of radiographic principles, international standards (preferably RT-D / NDT Level 2 or higher), as well as radiation safety and exposure control.
• IT & Networking: You are confident in Microsoft OS network and system configurations, as well as digital image analysis software.
• Soft Skills & Languages: Excellent, business-fluent English is a must (English is the corporate language). You are a confident communicator, work independently, and have a strong customer focus.
• Important: For reasons of ease of global travel, candidates must be EU or UK nationals.
