Senior Art Director (d/f/m)

Position

Jung von Matt NECKAR is looking for a Senior Art Director (d/f/m) with Social Media Expertise and a Passion for Beauty and Fashion.

As the ideal JvM Senior Art Director (d/f/m), you completed your studies or training in the field of graphic or communication design and you have at least 4-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a large creative agency. You can ride the rodeo on all current programs and also have skills in After Effects, Premiere and maybe even Cinema 4D.

Your tasks:

• Development of innovative communication and design concepts, looks and staging for several accounts to suit the brand and product - both online and offline
• Development and creation of a wide variety of layouts and presentation templates
• Preparation and participation in client presentations
• Independent briefing of all parties involved (incl. e.g. photographers, illustrators, concept designers)
• Offer professional guidance to mid-level, juniors and interns
• Project overview and resource planning (use of juniors and interns, booking freelancers)
• Identifying and solving problems (according to own assessment, if necessary in close cooperation with the CD)
• Optimisation of tools, workflows and mood

What you score with:

• Very good customer, product and brand knowledge
• Strong conceptual ability to think your own and others' ideas through to the end
• Very good understanding of the interaction between traditional and new media
• You are very familiar with trends and mechanics of the social media world and understand the interplay between classic and new media
• Demonstrated experience and success in creating engaging social media campaigns
• A strong affinity for beauty and fashion, with a keen eye for design and aesthetics in these industries
• Extensive experience with shoots, social productions and first shoots
• Confident dealing with partners and service providers
• Very confident presentation skills in German and English
• Confident in using common programmes and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
• An impressive portfolio
