We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) who can do more than just write code. You’ll ensure applications run smoothly, quickly resolve issues, and provide expert guidance to clients on existing systems. At Mimacom, you’ll be a trusted technical partner, maintaining operational reliability across diverse technologies and supporting teams and clients alike.

Tasks

As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), you play a key role in keeping our clients’ critical business applications reliable, efficient, and continuously improving. You’ll work autonomously with a variety of technologies and help ensure that systems operate smoothly across both legacy and modern platforms.

• Client support & troubleshooting: Act as the technical expert for client applications, swiftly identifying and resolving issues to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• System maintenance & monitoring: Proactively maintain and monitor applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Operational guidance: Translate client needs into clear technical actions, independently plan your support activities, and contribute to the smooth running of projects.
• Knowledge sharing & documentation: Keep comprehensive records of issues and solutions, and share your expertise with colleagues to maintain high standards across the team.

Requirements

You’re not just a software engineer – you’re a dependable technical expert. You thrive on ensuring business-critical applications run reliably, solving issues efficiently, and maintaining smooth operation across a variety of technologies. You have a hands-on, practical approach and can work autonomously with clients.

• Strong experience in Java, Spring, Elasticsearch, AngularJS, and React (deep knowledge required)
• Familiarity with other frontend frameworks (Vue) and cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus
• Proven experience in maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting both legacy and modern applications
• Comfortable managing client requests independently and translating them into clear technical actions
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (minimum B2 level)
