Commercial Business Development Manager Healthcare Europe (m/f/d)

Job Description

Location: Europe (e.g. preferably based in Benelux, DACH) | Travel: 30–50%

As the Commercial Business Development Manager Healthcare Europe, you will be responsible for driving growth and shaping the strategic expansion of DP World's logistics footprint within the healthcare sector. You will play a key role in building and scaling contract logistics and freight solutions tailored to pharmaceutical and medtech clients across Europe, with a focus on the Benelux region.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive the growth of healthcare logistics by acquiring and developing strategic customer accounts in the pharmaceuticals and medtech sectors.
• Take ownership of high-impact tactical projects and deliver results through cross-functional collaboration.
• Engineer tailored logistics and supply chain solutions for healthcare clients in key European markets.
• Lead the transfer and scaling of healthcare logistics intelligence and best practices across multiple facilities and countries.
• Conduct workshops and engagement sessions with customers and internal stakeholders in critical logistics hubs.
• Champion the development and execution of healthcare-focused initiatives, contributing to the strategic roadmap of DP World in the sector.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and solution design teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and scalable logistics solutions.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in business development, commercial management, or solution design in the healthcare logistics space.
• Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and medtech supply chain, including GxP and GDP compliance.
• Strong knowledge of contract logistics, freight forwarding, and healthcare distribution requirements in Europe.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on operational insight and strong project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.
