Job Title: Solutions EngineerJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: Regular-Long Term AssignmentPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Local* * *The Opportunity:USAFRICOM is seeking a Solutions Engineer who will serve as a technical leader within the Engineering group, responsible for translating business objectives into executable engineering solutions. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical expertise to drive integrated engineering initiatives from conception through implementation. This position is onsite daily in Stuttgart, Germany.Responsibilities:Chair the Integrated Engineering Working Group for assigned demands and projectsEvaluate business objectives and translate them into technical solutionsAssess skill requirements and resource needs for solution executionFacilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering disciplines and stakeholdersCreate comprehensive Demand technical assessment packages and present recommendations to the Requirements Review BoardPartner with Project Managers on project charter development and milestone planningFacilitate requirements gathering sessions and design reviewsElicit, analyze, and document requirements from diverse stakeholdersCollaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed Engineering Design PlansPresent design solutions and technical recommendations to leadershipServe as primary technical liaison between business units and engineering teamsPartner with the Chief Engineer and other Solutions Engineers to develop and refine engineering processesContribute to engineering standards, best practices, and methodologiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the organizationQualifications:Required:Currently hold an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.Have either a Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, an Associate's Degree and 7 years' experience or a High School Diploma and 11 years of experience.Demonstrated solution development expertiseKnowledge of engineering design processes and standardsExperience with project management methodologiesExperience with requirements management and technical documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
