Consumer Insights Research Expert (m/f/d) for Cooking Appliances

Your responsibilities

Position overview:
Understanding target consumers by conduction research projects and analysis to deliver actionable insights to improve products and lead innovation.

Key responsibilities:

• Development of Consumer Insights- and Market Research - Projects for the European home appliance market
• Creation of data driven decision basics for R&D and Product Management strategic initiatives
• Identification of consumer needs, market trends and growing potential with recommendations for innovations and new products
• Supporting improvement of product development and go-to-market strategies generating valuable insights based on consumer and competitor analysis
• Guidance of the whole process of qualitative and quantitative research projects with definition of relevant questions, analysis of results and presentation to international stakeholders from R&D, Product Management and Marketing

Your profile

• Completed studies in Market Research, Consumer Psychology, Business Economics or comparable education.
• Min. 5 years of working experience in consumer insights, consumer research and user experience test.
• Previous experience in durable products (e.g. home appliances,) is considered as strong advantage
• Very familiar with European markets with solid knowledge and experience in conception, execution and analysis of quantitative and qualitative research; hands-on experience in conducting/ moderating consumer interviews.
• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills, working in an intercultural environment
• Self-driven and result-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical and consultative skills
• Excellent English skills in both written and spoken, German language skills are a big plus.
