Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d)
- Manage end-to-end commissioning activities for assigned electrical systems and packages, ensuring structured progression from construction completion through testing, energization, and final turnover
- Provide strong technical leadership in electrical engineering topics (HV/MV/LV power systems, distribution, Protection, and controls), ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues and project continuity
- Act as the primary point of contact for all electrical commissioning activities, coordinating closely with vendors, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders
- Develop and execute electrical commissioning strategies, including test procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), work packs, and detailed documentation aligned with project and compliance requirements
- Plan and manage electrical system sequencing, energization activities, LOTO/permit-to-work processes, and risk mitigation across complex power systems
- Lead electrical QA/QC activities and field execution, including inspections, walkdowns, punch list management, testing (e.g. power quality, protection, loop checks), and final system close-out
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Several years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in data centers or missiong-critical facilities
- Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including HV/MV/LV power systems, AC/DC distribution, and load flow concepts
- Experience with electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and protection schemes
- Familiar with commissioning standards
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
