Aufgaben:

• Define architectures for electronic control units and components
• Process customer requirements and requests from OEMs
• Increase development capacities for hardware and component development
• Development of the hardware architecture: conception and design of powerful and scalable hardware solutions
• Technology evaluation and component selection: selection of suitable components and evaluation of newer technologies
• Cross-team collaboration: coordination with departments such as software, system and mechanics
• Conduct tests, failure analyses, and performance optimization
• Documentation & quality assurance: preparation of technical documentation and compliance with quality standards

Qualifikationen:

• Degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering or comparable - ideally with a focus on electronic systems in the vehicle
• Several years of experience in the development of automotive hardware, in particular control units, sensors, actuators, power distribution systems, as well as in high-speed design and signal integrity
• Knowledge of automotive-specific standards and norms, e.g. ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), Automotive SPICE, EMC requirements, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet
• Experience with hardware development tools and simulation, e.g. Altium, Automotive SPICE
