Data & BI Specialist (m/f/d) Full-time

Your tasks:

• Introduction, further development and support of Microsoft Power BI as a central reporting and analysis platform
• Conceptualization, development and optimization of meaningful BI dashboards and management reports
• Analysis of large data sets and derivation of recommendations for action for specialist departments and management.
• Development and definition of relevant KPIs and ensuring a uniform data basis
• Development and expansion of a modern data warehouse and reporting landscape
• Close collaboration with specialist departments to identify and implement analytical requirements
• Ensuring data quality, data consistency and transparency across different systems
• Development of data models and optimization of data flows for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Identification of patterns, trends and anomalies using classical analytical and AI-supported methods.
• Development of data-driven forecasts and predictions to support operational and strategic decisions
• Evaluation and application of modern AI and machine learning methods for optimizing business processes in receivables management
• Use of Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services and other AI tools to extend existing reporting and analysis processes.
• Support in the design of an AI-supported data analytics strategy

Your profile:

Mandatory requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or in a comparable role
• Proven experience in implementing Microsoft Power BI in companies
• Extensive experience in building BI dashboards, reports and key performance indicator (KPI) systems
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and interpretation of complex datasets
• Strong technical understanding of database structures, relational data models, and data architectures
• Experience connecting different data sources to Power BI
• Excellent knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, aggregations, optimization)
• Analytical thinking with high quality standards and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to present complex issues in an understandable way and to communicate them in a manner appropriate to the target audience.

Desirable

• Experience in building or modernizing data warehouses
• Project experience in data-driven transformation projects
• Knowledge of the debt collection, receivables management or financial services industry
• Experience with AI-supported analysis methods and predictive analytics
• Basic knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling or data science
• Experience with Azure Data Services or comparable modern analytics platforms
• Interest in using Generative AI for analyzing and interpreting company data
