Director of Publisher

About the Role We are looking for a Publisher Director – DACH & CEE to join our growing Publisher team. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing and strengthening strategic publisher partnerships across the DACH region, with an initial focus on Germany, while supporting the expansion of our publisher network across Central and Eastern Europe. As a key member of the team, you will drive publisher growth, maximize the value delivered through EXTE's technology solutions and ensure long-term partner success. What will you do? * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with publishers across the DACH region. * Identify and develop new publisher partnership opportunities to support business growth. * Lead the onboarding and integration process for new partners, ensuring a seamless experience and successful adoption of EXTE's solutions. * Monitor and analyze publisher and campaign performance, providing strategic recommendations to optimize results and maximize revenue opportunities. * Act as a trusted advisor to partners, offering both strategic and operational guidance. * Collaborate closely with Commercial, Product, Ad Operations and Technical teams to deliver best-in-class solutions and partner support. * Proactively identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement through data analysis and market insights. * Manage escalations and ensure issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining strong partner satisfaction. * Contribute to the development of publisher strategies and initiatives that drive long-term business success. What are we looking for? * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in Publisher Management, Account Management, Business Development or Partner Management within the AdTech, Digital Media or Advertising industry. * Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and publisher monetization strategies. * Proven experience managing strategic partnerships and driving business growth. * Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. * Highly proactive, solution-oriented and customer-focused approach. * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and international environment. * Fluent German and English are required.
