Master Electrician / Electrical Supervisor (m/f/d) – Tunnel Construction

Are you looking for a hands-on role where your expertise directly supports major infrastructure projects? We are seeking an experienced Master Electrician or Electrical Technician to join a growing tunnelling and heavy civil engineering team working on large-scale underground construction projects across Germany.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical site-based work, leading teams, and managing complex electrical systems in challenging construction environments.

Your Responsibilities

As part of the site operations team, you will oversee the complete electrical setup and maintenance of tunnel construction projects, including:

• Managing temporary construction power systems (400V)
• Supervising medium-voltage installations and connections (up to 20kV)
• Supporting the commissioning and operation of tunnelling machinery
• Planning and coordinating electrical works on-site
• Leading and mentoring skilled electrical personnel
• Ensuring all systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining technical documentation and inspection records
• Coordinating with project managers, utility providers, and local authorities

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical infrastructure systems while working on technically demanding projects throughout Germany.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualification as a Master Electrician, Electrical Technician, or similar electrical engineering certification
• Previous experience in construction-site electrical installations
• Knowledge of medium-voltage systems and industrial power distribution
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Independent and solution-focused approach to work
• Fluent German communication skills (minimum C1 level)

Experience in tunnelling or underground construction is advantageous but not essential.
