Data Analytics Consultant - Retail & CPG (m/f/d)

We're looking for a Data Analytics Consultant – Retail & CPG (m/f/d) to join our team in the Rhein/Main area, Germany, in a hybrid working mode.

In this role, you will help leading retail and consumer goods companies unlock business value through advanced Data & Analytics solutions. You will work with senior stakeholders to define data strategies, design state-of-the-art analytics architectures and lead the implementation of transformational solutions that align with key strategic objectives. This position offers the opportunity to influence client strategy, support delivery excellence and contribute to building EPAM’s Data & Analytics consulting practice in Germany.

Shape and deliver Data & Analytics strategies that enable large-scale digital transformation for retail and CPG clients Cultivate strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on data initiatives Serve as an industry expert on Retail & CPG data challenges and emerging trends Contribute to EPAM’s Data & Analytics go-to-market strategy and service offerings Collaborate with technical and business teams to align data solutions with business objectives Design pragmatic solutions at the intersection of technology, customer needs and business goals Facilitate workshops, lead client presentations and influence key stakeholders, including executive decision-makers Guide research and strategy development for analytics products that unlock new revenue opportunities Support engagement governance and program delivery to ensure quality outcomes Drive account growth through identifying new opportunities and advising on solution roadmaps Extensive experience in Data & Analytics consulting with hands-on delivery knowledge Strong background in Retail and/or CPG industry with a vision for data-driven transformation Proven track record developing and managing client relationships in a consulting environment Ability to connect business challenges with data-driven insights and translate into actionable solutions Exposure to state-of-the-art Data & AI platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or similar technologies Understanding of modern data architectures, governance frameworks and advanced analytics capabilities Confidence in facilitating workshops, presenting solutions and advising executive stakeholders Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in German and English Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology or related discipline Experience implementing AI-driven data solutions or predictive analytics systems Familiarity with best practices in data monetization and advanced analytics Consulting experience with complex multi-stakeholder engagements in Retail/CPG sectors Certifications in data or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) Involvement in thought leadership, publications or industry forums on Data & Analytics topics
