With more than 33,000 employees, the company generated sales of CHF 11.20 billion in 2025.Job DescriptionIn this role as Specialist Supply Chain Network Optimization you support EMEA countries in designing, evaluating, and optimizing regional distribution networks to improve service, reduce logistics cost, and increase efficiency.Network Flow & Footprint AnalysisAnalyze distribution networks and replenishment structures.Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.Network Scenario Evaluation & OptimizationDevelop simulations comparing cost and service alternatives.Support decision‑making with data‑based scenarios.Transportation Logic & Flow OptimizationImprove routing logic, modes, and frequencies.Identify cost and CO2 reduction opportunities.Replenishment Structure & Inventory AlignmentOptimize replenishment rules and allocation flows.Align planning and logistics requirements.Data & Analytics ExcellenceProvide tools and templates for better decision‑making.Continuous ImprovementStandardize and improve structural flow processes.Risk & Resilience PlanningBuild alternative flow concepts and contingency plans.Strategic Network DevelopmentSupport long‑term network strategy.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, network optimization, or similar analytical rolesStrong expertise in distribution network design, transportation modeling, and supply chain flow optimizationProven experience with scenario modeling, simulation tools, and cost-to-serve analysisAdvanced analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel (advanced)Experience with supply chain optimizationSolid understanding of transportation strategies, routing optimization, and inventory planning principlesAbility to translate complex data into actionable insights and decision-ready recommendationsStrong knowledge of logistics cost drivers, service metrics, and CO2/emissions considerationsExperience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plusStrong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across functions and regions (especially EMEA exposure preferred)Experience supporting strategic projects and long-term network design initiativesStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearlyStructured, problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail and qualityFluent in English; additional languages are an advantageAdditional InformationWe offer intensive training and interesting perspectives for anyone who wants to build a careerSika is like a global SME: With subsidiaries in more than 100 countries around the world.
