The role covers project activities from solution development through implementation and commissioning, with a strong focus on project planning, cost control, stakeholder management, reporting, and coordination of external service providers.The position combines project management, PMO activities, IT project coordination, cloud/IT project experience, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation.ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and execute small IT projects from solution development through implementation and commissioning. Take responsibility for achieving agreed schedule, cost, quality, and project objectives. Support project management in the planning and execution of medium-sized IT projects. Manage stakeholders and maintain effective communication with customers, project teams, suppliers, and other relevant parties. Perform cost controlling and prepare regular project reports and status updates. Support the creation and maintenance of project plans. Identify, document, and coordinate dependencies, changes, risks, and corrective measures within project planning. Coordinate and manage external service providers involved in project activities. Support administrative and organizational project management activities. Prepare, conduct, moderate, and follow up on project workshops. Support project documentation, decision preparation, and project coordination. Contribute to the successful implementation and commissioning of IT solutions. Coordinate project activities across technical and organizational stakeholders. Support continuous improvement of project management processes and working methods. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT, or a comparable field. Alternatively, completed commercial or recognized IT vocational training combined with relevant professional experience. IPMA Level D certification or comparable project management qualification. ITIL Foundation v3 or higher certification, or demonstrable practical IT Service Management experience. Good knowledge of common project management standards and methodologies. Practical experience with project management tools such as: Jira or comparable tools Microsoft Project Microsoft Office Good knowledge of: MS Project Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook Other common project management and collaboration tools German: C1English: B1, according to CEFR. Professional ExperienceThe successful candidate should demonstrate:At least 1 year of professional experience in project management / project leadership. At least 3 years of experience in Project Management Office (PMO) activities. At least 2 years of experience as a project team member or consultant in digitalization projects within defence-related or comparable public administration environments. At least 2 years of experience as a project team member or consultant in cloud projects, preferably Private Cloud, or comparable IT projects. Experience with project management tools, particularly Jira or comparable tools and Microsoft Office. Experience in project planning, reporting, cost controlling, risk and dependency management.
